Young Adults is Holy Trinity’s ministry to university students and young professionals (or anyone feeling young at heart). Our Thursday evening gatherings are a space to build community, chat life, and journey together in faith, wherever you’re starting from.

We gather in the Rectory for worship and conversation from 7:30pm-9pm the first three Thursdays of the month and set aside the fourth Thursday of the month for a bit of craic, be it a pub quiz, game night, Christmas Market, or just a meal together.

Over the last five years, we have gathered together to drink tea, eat toast, build community, study Scripture and live out five core values:

  • Unity Over Uniformity:

Authentic, healthy community does not demand uniformity. It celebrates unity in diversity and the truth that we don’t need to be the same to be together.

  • Hard Truths Over Handy Lies:

The truth is sometimes hard to hear but, no matter how challenging or painful, we would rather be challenged by truth than settle for comfortable lies.

  • Questions Over Answers:

We want to be people who celebrate good questions instead of settling for bad answers.

  • Sincerity Over Sentimentality:

We want to hear what you really think — not what you have been taught you should think.

  • Conversation Over Confrontation:

It’s easier to shout than it is to truly listen. We want to learn the lost art of conversation and be people who truly learn from one another.

If that sounds like a space you want to explore, then join us as we wrestle with Scripture, tell our stories, be honest with each other about our doubts and questions, and encourage one another with our hopes and joys.
